About Jane Van De Velde
Jane Van De Velde, DNP, RN, is the founder and president of
The Reiki Share Project. As a registered nurse, Jane holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Rush University in Chicago. She is a Reiki Master Teacher and has been practicing and teaching Reiki since 2003.
Jane has extensive experience working within the cancer community and volunteers at both a cancer treatment center and a nonprofit cancer support center in the Chicago area. She has offered hundreds of Reiki sessions to individuals and caregivers who are dealing with a cancer diagnosis. Jane seeks to raise public awareness about Reiki and to integrate the practice of Reiki into health care systems and community-based organizations. Her articles can be found in
